We have a position available within our portable cabin refurbishment workshop for a motivated, knowledgeable and hard-working individual to join our team as a painter. Nortons are a family company who look after their employees and expect the same in return. We have a loyal team where many of our workers have been at the company for over 10 years and understand what we are looking for in an employee. An honest and hard day’s work in return for a fair day’s pay is all we ask.

The job is located at our Manchester premises in Miles Platting which has been our home for over 30 years. We carry out a wide range of cabin refurbishment projects which include bespoke designs, external customer refurbishments and the servicing and repairing of sale cabins. The painting role within the company will require the employee to have pride in their work and be happy to prepare cabins to be undercoated and finished in a gloss external paint. We still paint our units the old way, but the final product is always something to be proud of.

What you need to be a successful candidate:

  • Have an excellent work ethic and take pride in your work.
  • Work as part of a team to get the job done.
  • Good physical condition and stamina.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Normal work schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm but overtime is available and Saturday work. Friday you are welcome to have an early finish if you have an early start.
