Job Brief:
We are currently looking for a 3.5 ton Driver/Loader based in Aston Birmingham (B6). Clearabee is the largest on-demand same-day waste removal company in the UK. We operate on a Man&Van basis and cover the entire UK, working alongside major national supermarkets, sofa companies, and other waste clearance firms.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a 3.5-ton vehicle.
- Collecting waste efficiently from domestic properties.
- Collecting waste from large national companies and their clients professionally.
Examples of jobs:
- Moving furniture as part of a two-person team from inside customer properties (beds, washing machines, sofas, etc.).
- Clearing installation waste (bagged and unbagged) from inside or outside properties.
- Undertaking garden clearance.
- Emptying wheelie bins when the regular contractor is unavailable due to service issues or overloading.
- Emptying commercial bins from restaurants (collected by hand in a man&van service; gloves provided).
- Carrying out large property clearances.
Skills Required:
- Clear DBS check.
- No more than 6 points on your license.
- Held a valid license for at least 1 year (insurance requirements).
- Ability to use own smartphone with data and minutes.
- Experience driving a 3.5-ton van or similar-sized vehicle.
Hours & Pay:
- £11 per hour including bonus (£10.50 + 50p bonus), with potential earnings up to £34,000 p.a.
- Monthly wages paid directly to your bank account, with access to wages as you earn them via our on-demand payment system.
- 28 days paid holiday.
- Minimum 35-hour contract; drivers are expected to work around 50 hours per week (2 out of 4 Saturdays required).
- Average start time at 7 am, finishing around 6 pm; shifts can vary from 10 to 12 hours.
