About Us
Reconstruct is a trusted, independent multi-solution provider to both Children’s and Adult services across public and private sectors. With over 34 years of experience in health and social care, we specialise in delivering high-impact permanent and contract recruitment solutions to social care providers nationwide.
About our client
Our client is a fast-growing, AI-native compliance and care management platform built specifically for children’s residential care providers. Supporting registered managers and their teams stay Ofsted-ready, reduce administrative burden, and improve outcomes for the young people in their care. They are a profitable, debt-free SaaS business with customers across England and Wales, growing rapidly, and backed by a clear product vision that puts artificial intelligence at the centre of compliance — including AI-powered incident summarisation, policy chat, and a clinical decision-support copilot currently in testing. They are at an exciting inflection point and are seeking their first dedicated Account Executive to accelerate new business growth.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for an experienced SaaS sales professional who understands the children’s social care sector. You will be the first Account Executive at our client — joining at the point where we have strong product-market fit, an established and growing inbound pipeline, and a clearly defined ideal customer profile, but need a dedicated sales resource to convert faster and push into new accounts. You will own the full sales cycle — from initial discovery through to signed contract — selling to registered managers, responsible individuals, operations directors, and group-level business owners at children’s residential care providers and supported accommodation operators across the UK. Deal sizes typically range from £3,000 to £15,000 ARR, with significant expansion potential as customers add registered homes and extend their use of the platform. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to Head of Sales as the commercial team grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities from first contact through to close
- Conduct structured discovery calls and tailored product demonstrations that speak directly to the compliance and operational challenges facing children’s residential care providers
- Build and maintain relationships with registered managers, responsible individuals, and group operations teams
- Work closely with the founders to refine sales process, commercial messaging, and competitive positioning
- Represent our client at relevant sector events, conferences, and provider networks to build brand presence and generate pipeline
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and forecasting within CRM
- Provide structured market intelligence back to the product team — prospect objections, feature requests, competitive intelligence
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly new ARR targets
Person Specification
Essential
- A demonstrable track record of closing B2B SaaS deals — minimum two years of full-cycle Account Executive experience with consistent quota attainment
- Direct experience selling into health, social care, children’s services, or a regulated services environment — you understand the world of Ofsted, Care Quality Commission, compliance frameworks, and what genuinely concerns a registered manager
- Strong consultative discovery skills — you qualify rigorously, listen carefully, and tailor your approach to what the prospect needs rather than delivering a generic demonstration
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a founder-led business without a large supporting sales infrastructure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- UK-based with a full driving licence and willingness to travel for high-value prospect meetings and sector events
Desirable
- Existing relationships with children’s residential care providers, supported accommodation operators, or children’s services commissioners
- Experience selling compliance, quality assurance, workforce management, or care management software
- Familiarity with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Ofsted inspection frameworks, or equivalent regulatory standards
- Experience contributing to or building a sales playbook in an early-stage SaaS environment
What’s on offer
- Competitive base salary and a clear, fair commission structure with uncapped earnings above quota
- Genuine autonomy to own your pipeline and shape how our client sells — your contribution will be visible and valued
- Direct access to founders — fast decision-making, no unnecessary bureaucracy
- A product that customers genuinely value and that improves outcomes for vulnerable young people
- A market that is materially underserved by technology and actively receptive to innovation
- A stable, profitable business with strong growth momentum
What This Role Is Not
This is not a role for someone who requires extensive sales support infrastructure, multiple layers of approval, or a rigid corporate environment. Candidates who thrive here are self-directed, intellectually curious about the sector, and motivated as much by impact as by commission.
Commercial Structure
Annual quota: £300,000–£400,000 new ARR
Commission: Percentage of ARR closed, paid monthly on cash receipt
Accelerators: Applied above 100% of quota
Full details will be discussed at offer stage.
