At Reconomy Connect, we're changing the way businesses think about waste. Instead of simply disposing of it, we're helping organisations unlock the value of their resources, reduce their environmental impact, and move towards a more sustainable future. Now, we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey. If you're naturally organised, enjoy coordinating projects, building relationships, and seeing things through from start to finish, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Based at our Waltham Abbey office, you'll join a passionate team of over 60 colleagues who are all working towards one shared vision: a world without waste.
About the role
This isn't your typical sales support position. Think of it as a blend of project coordination, technical support, customer management, and problem-solving. Once our Sales team has secured a deal, you'll take ownership of making sure everything happens smoothly behind the scenes. From checking site requirements and coordinating installations to managing suppliers and keeping customers informed, you'll be at the heart of every project. One day you could be visiting a customer site to assess installation requirements, and the next you'll be coordinating engineers, arranging deliveries, producing CAD drawings, or tracking equipment through the supply chain. You'll become the go-to person for ensuring installations stay on track, stakeholders stay informed, and customers receive a first-class experience.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating equipment installations and mobilisation projects across the UK.
- Conducting site surveys to assess customer requirements and installation suitability.
- Producing installation drawings using AutoCAD Light.
- Managing multiple installations and timelines simultaneously.
- Working closely with customers, suppliers, engineers, transport providers, and internal teams.
- Monitoring equipment orders from purchase through to delivery and installation.
- Arranging installation schedules, equipment deliveries, and customer training.
- Supporting the Sales team with technical and pricing queries.
- Managing refurbishment projects and monitoring equipment stock levels.
- Ensuring all project documentation, certificates, and customer sign-offs are completed correctly.
- Maintaining accurate records within CRM and business systems.
- Producing weekly and monthly KPI reporting.
- Taking the lead on more complex installations and acting as a project coordinator throughout the process.
What we need from you
You don't need to be a technical expert, but you'll be curious, organised, and comfortable learning about specialist equipment and how it works. Most importantly, you'll enjoy managing multiple moving parts and communicating with a wide range of people. You'll likely thrive in this role if you:
- Love organising and coordinating projects.
- Enjoy building relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Can confidently juggle multiple priorities.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Are proactive and enjoy solving problems.
- Take pride in delivering a great customer experience.
The skills and experience you'll bring
- Experience in a project coordination, project support, technical support, operational support, or similar role.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Light and the ability to create basic technical drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good time management and the ability to work across multiple projects.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
It would be great if you also have:
- An understanding of basic hydraulics or mechanical systems.
- Experience working with equipment installations, engineering projects, logistics, manufacturing, or waste management.
- Experience coordinating suppliers and contractors.
What you need to know
This role is based full-time from our Waltham Abbey office, so you'll need to be within a reasonable commuting distance (around 35 minutes to 1 hour). You'll also travel across the UK for site visits and customer projects, with occasional overnight stays as required. A company car is provided.
Why join us?
At Reconomy Connect, our success is built on four core values: Community, Colleague, Customer, and Environment. Alongside joining a friendly, supportive team and a business with a clear purpose, you'll benefit from:

- Exclusive discounts: MyPerks platform, Cycle to Work scheme, gym membership discounts, and skip hire discounts.
- Health & wellbeing: Flu jabs, eyecare vouchers, and an Employee Assistance Programme.

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, develop your skills, and play a key role in helping businesses become more sustainable. Ready to take ownership of projects and help create a world without waste? We'd love to hear from you.
