Ready for your next step in your career? Or perhaps it\’s time for a new challenge? Then look no further, as we\’re looking for a Procurement Executive to join our Operations team.
You will be customer focused and able to work under pressure to ensure we are able to meet service standards, whilst also being able to meet Reconomy’s commercial expectations. This will be achieved by working closely with our network of approved suppliers, regional Supply Chain Managers and team members across the business.
Some of the key responsibilities and duties of the role:
- Procure services for a range of containerised hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, based on quotations generated from our internal systems.
- Build and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Ensure issues are managed and resolved, or where necessary escalated to the appropriate team or individual.
- Record, update and maintain supplier contacts and records in Reconomy platforms.
- Assisting with tenders and strategic pricing matrices where required.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Reconomy’s products and services as well as relevant industry information to benefit Reconomy and our customers.
What We Need From You
- Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Previous procurement experience preferred but not essential.
- Confident telephone communication.
- Good team player.
- Good Microsoft Office skills such as Word and Excel (e.g. data input, sort, filter).
- Experience in providing a great service in a customer or supplier facing role.
- An organised and proactive approach to meet deadlines and SLAs.
