ReCon Advisory Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a Infrastructure company in Central Belt Of Scotland. The company are a civil engineering contractor who operate in the Power/Energy sector on OHL/HV Projects. They are recruiting a Project Engineer who has previous experience of working on OHL, HV and Transmission Projects. The Role: · Working as part of a team to ensure the safe delivery of Transmission Overhead lines projects. Ranging from major refurbishments of 33kV heavy duty wood pole line, 132/275/400kV transmission lines, substation connections, line deviations and temporary diversions. · Production and issue of RAMS and permits · Organisation and management of site personnel · Design of HV Cable Pulling Operations; Supervision and delivery of project works through internal and subcontract labour; Checking of works against design; Production and maintenance of site documentation including H&S, Quality, Waste and Environmental documents. · Planning, production and submission of Temporary Traffic Regulations Orders (TTROs) and Road Opening Notices; Procurement and coordination of material and plant deliveries · Routine maintenance as required to ensure the safe performance and continuity of the electrical grid. · Carrying out regular site audits to ensure the teams are carrying out their duties to the expected and required standards, and to ensure the qual…
