Your Mission
The Engineering Systems team at Recombine is responsible forbuilding and maintaining internal platform services that arecrucial for accelerating the productivity of all engineeringteams. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and expand twocore components: the Feature Flags Service and the EngineeringInternal Observability Platform (E360). You’ll ensure that thesesystems serve as the foundation for seamless and efficientengineering workflows, allowing us to deliver top-tier AI-drivenproducts.
What You’ll Do at Recombine
- Plan, design, and develop software systems and applications forinternal services, including cloud-based tools that support theengineering organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and engineerkey aspects of our AI products and internal services.
- Ensure that technical deliverables meet the highest standards ofquality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Establish and promote agile engineering practices, helping todrive continuous improvement in development processes.
- Identify bottlenecks and issues in existing systems, proactivelydeveloping solutions to mitigate these challenges.
- Create and manage feature development plans, design systemcomponents, and build the engineering roadmap to improveoperational efficiency.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation to ensurethe reliability and scalability of Recombine’s internalplatforms.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- 1+ years of experience leading a functional team or provenexperience mentoring and coaching peers in a leadershipdevelopment capacity.
- 5+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role, ideallywith a focus on infrastructure or systems engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in the B2B software ortechnologyindustry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such asC#, Java, Python, or Rust, and a strong grasp ofobject-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming,and synchronization techniques.
- Deep understanding of data structures andalgorithms and their practical applications.
- Solid experience with thesoftware development life cycle, and a track record ofdelivering high-quality, well-tested code.Ability to maintainprofessionalism and composure under pressure.
- Expertise in .NET, C#, and familiarity withcloud services (preferably Azure, AWS, orGCP).
