The Opportunity: A precision manufacturer that continues to grow and invest is looking for an accounts and admin assistant to support and work alongside the accounts manager.
The role will include some admin duties such as:
- Answering the phone, including taking messages and details from customers and directing calls to the correct department.
- Greeting customers and suppliers.
- Scanning, filing and attaching files to our database.
- Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and resolving any discrepancies.
- Reconciling supplier statements with purchase ledger records.
- Maintaining and filing accurate records of admin and financial transactions.
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
- Providing administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Posting purchase invoices on Sage.
- Dealing with queries.
- Daily bank allocations.
- Credit control and debtors report.
