The Demand Centric Growth (DCG) team helps categories and markets grow by connecting consumer demand, market dynamics and commercial choices. This role owns the translation of complex insight into a set of clear strategic decisions that category teams can deploy with confidence. As a Strategy Associate, you will support high impact growth strategy projects by running rigorous analysis, building insight stories and helping senior stakeholders make confident decisions. You will work closely with Category, Markets and Insights & Analytics teams, contributing to projects that shape category strategies, innovation choices and go to market priorities. You will be reporting to the Strategy Manager or Strategy Director.

Scope:

  • Global, cross category role with exposure to developed and emerging markets, influencing strategic choices from portfolio to activation.
  • Supports one or more DCG workstreams at any time, balancing pace with analytical rigour.
  • High interaction with senior category and functional leaders through working sessions, steering meetings, and strategy reviews.

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive delivery momentum across Demand Centric Growth workstreams.
  • Support end-to-end project delivery – from framing the business question and structuring the workplan, to synthesising recommendations and next steps.
  • Keep inputs, actions and timelines moving by coordinating across functions and partners.
  • Run analyses and build models that translate research outputs into practical implications for growth choices.
  • Conduct market sizing and opportunity assessments using internal and external data, triangulating to build confidence in the ‘answer’.
  • Create clear, compelling storylines and executive-ready materials that simplify trade-offs and convert complexity into decisions.
  • Support stakeholder working sessions by preparing materials and capturing key decisions, actions and follow-ups to ensure adoption.
  • Be part of brand building work that moves from insight to action – supporting recommendations that influence strategy, innovation in in-market execution.
  • Track how choices play out in the real world, helping teams learn what worked, what didn’t, and what to do next.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of DCG tools, templates and ways of working.
  • Capture learnings and support knowledge management so work can be reused and scaled across categories and markets.

The experience we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, business, economics, engineering, statistics or related field preferred.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, insights, analytics, or commercial roles, ideally in FMCG, retail, or consumer health.
  • Comfort working with quantitative data and translating analysis into decisions for non-technical audiences.

  • Clear communication and storytelling, able to tailor messages for senior leadership and broader project teams.
