About the role: The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for the development and execution of strategy for the Planning Organization with the key KPIs focused on service (PFR), optimal inventory and minimal waste and supply chain losses. You will lead a team of Supply Planners and report directly to the Planning Director NEU, with regular interactions and accountability to the Supply Services Director as part of the extended leadership team, with a high level of cross-functional stakeholder management across Supply and Commercial functions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery, execution and consistency of the Supply Planning KPIs (PFR, SCL and inventory) via a team of Supply Planners and central Distribution Requirement Planner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders (internal/external) and demonstrate personal accountability to achieve inventory and SCL objectives and deliver service.
  • Own & analyze inventory levels, historical usage, and anticipate products at risk of short dating or obsolescence.
  • Provide support for the inventory plans developed by Supply Chain as they pertain to days on hand, obsolescence and short dating.
  • Routinely monitor production, finished good inventory and customer service performance metrics, with a clear understanding of our manufacturing process and impacts of and to our factories and EMO partners.
  • Analyze data to identify potential business issues in advance.
  • Address root cause and resolve business problems impeding performance and develop process improvements to reduce the risk of reoccurrence.
  • Partner with the NPD and Embellishment teams as well as Marketing counterparts on projects.
  • Develop and prepare "what if" business scenarios as required including financial analysis.
  • Maintain broad working knowledge of demand planning inputs and influences and adapt them as needed to align with supply planning.
  • Analyze business issues and determine root cause to develop action plans to drive improvements in KPIs, as well as focusing on continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost and time saving productivity projects.
  • Verify key assumptions and parameters to take corrective action so that integrity of planning data is maintained and sustainable.
  • Suggest, test and implement improvements to both data and SAP processes.

The experience we're looking for:

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Planning and Forecasting processes in a consumer goods industry with clear demonstrable understanding of manufacturing and demand planning.
  • People management experience (minimum 2 direct reports).
  • Passion for building strong, dynamic and performance driven teams.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and inventory management.
  • High attention to detail and strong operational discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead improvement initiatives (e.g., cost-saving, productivity projects).
  • Ambitious, proactive, and impact-driven mindset.
  • Innovative and forward-thinking (interest in AI / new technologies is a plus).
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
