About The Role

The role has overall responsibility to oversee Innovation projects and New Products Developments from Procurement perspective. The role acts as single point of contact in Procurement for global innovation projects, working closely with internal and external partners. The role ensures full alignment and compliance with Category Strategies, delivery of Innovation KPIS, reporting frameworks, and core procurement processes. We are hiring for 2 positions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all Procurement activities related to Innovation Projects/NPD/EPD.
  • Participating and representing Procurement in CLT and other Category review forums.
  • Act as the window between Category/Category Supply/R&D and procurement in management of projects.
  • Ensure cost and timeline targets as agreed with procurement category leads are incorporated in all project charters.
  • Monitoring progress on related activities closely and escalating risks as appropriate.
  • Working with internal stakeholders, sets and drives the procurement innovation strategy aligned with business and supply chain objectives.
  • Builds and maintains external innovation ecosystems, including vendors, and solution providers.
  • Drives change management and adoption, ensuring teams embrace new tools and ways of working.
  • Promotes sustainability, ESG, and responsible sourcing through innovative procurement solutions.
  • Monitors market trends and emerging capabilities to keep procurement future‑ready to support Innovation.

Category Expertise:

  • Possesses advanced category insights for raw and pack materials.
  • Leverages emerging innovation trend with supply partners by working closely with Procurement Category team, including partners outside of our ecosystem.
  • Actively participates and contributes to Procurement Category Strategy development.
  • Actively contributes to Joint Business Development Plan with key supply partners.

Project Management:

  • Oversight of NPD and EPD projects related to Procurement.
  • Ability to anticipate risks/issues and escalating them in time to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Influences decision that works in the best interests of the business and procurement.

Building Partnerships:

  • Nurtures effective cross functional working with key internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate partners to Innovate activities along with Procurement Category Leads.

Data, Reporting & Tools:

  • Lead implementation of tools and processes that support Innovation Project management in procurement.

The experience we're looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Technology/Science Stream or Business Management.
  • Experience: 8+ years in Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Analytical, structured, and data‑driven.
  • Ability to drive change and influence within a matrix organisation.
  • Project Management experience.
