Manpower are currently seeking an interim Senior Program Manager to work with our global FMCG client Reckitt, renowned for brands such as Dettol, Finish, Nurofen, and Air Wick. The position is based in Hull. This is a full-time temporary role to last for 3 months. This role offers a competitive compensation package.

Role Purpose: Reporting to the IT&D Director PLM, this role is responsible for overseeing E2E PLM Program activities, across both legacy and future PLM landscapes. Responsible for co-ordinating and reporting delivery status of individual project and workstream activities, and accountable for establishing and leading appropriate governance processes across the product area. Together with the IT&D PLM Director, responsible together with the IT&D Senior Platform Manager, PLM for E2E financial management of all related project and product workstream activities. With IT&D Senior Platform Manager, PLM leads the delivery organisation and key stakeholders in pivoting the IT&D organisation to manage E2E PLM as an evolving product.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manages IT&D PLM program and project deliverables, schedules and finances against plan as required, ensuring appropriate project management controls are established and maintained.
  • Ensure an effective KPI and OKR reporting set up, both for delivery and value tracking.
  • Ensures deliverables are compliant with IT&D QMS requirements, and in turn external regulatory compliance needs.
  • Establishment and ongoing maintenance of programme/project/workstream plans as required, including reporting to the various governance forums such as the Steering Committee.
  • Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, including those beyond the scope of current ‘core’ PLM recipe management application.
  • Ensuring ‘Acceptance into Service’ criteria are agreed and that the business, delivery partners, IT&D and the program team understand their respective responsibilities in meeting those criteria.

Relationship Management:

  • Working closely with Business & IT&D PLM leadership to successfully deliver against short and mid-term roadmap plans.
  • Works with cross-functional IT&D product and program leads to align dependencies between multiple programmes and projects.
  • Management of executive sponsors and their associated expectations through established governance forums.
  • Building strong relationship with delivery partners to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project delivery resources, including providing appropriate coaching and guidance, in accordance with all HR Policies and procedures.

Skills/Experiences:

Essential:

  • Extensive Change Leadership experience gained over a 15+ year technology career.
  • Proven experience of leading delivery of a major, complex digital transformation process.
  • Experience of working with delivery partners during the project/product lifecycle.
  • Experience of working within FMCG, Personal Hygiene and Healthcare sector.
  • Experience of delivering major programs within a GxP regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of emerging program and product management methodologies and principles.
  • Practical experience in both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and understanding of E2E business processes across the Reckitt Product Lifecycle, together with enabling technology platforms and data dependencies.
  • Deep experience of Reckitt IT&D QMS controls framework, especially as applied to Programme Delivery.
  • Understanding ADO fundamentals.
  • Deep experience in end-to-end technology development.
  • Strong understanding of emerging program and product management methodologies and principles.
  • Practical experience in both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Deep and demonstrable leadership and stakeholder management capabilities across matrix organisations.

Technical / Professional Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Graduate or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Certified PMP, Certified Scrum Master.
  • Microsoft Office Suite to Proficient level.

Desired:

  • Trained or certified in Scaled Agile, DevOps methodologies.
  • Appropriate ITIL/PMI/PRINCE certification.
