About the role The Senior Manager, Evidence Strategy and Engagement, part of the Clinical Research team, provides strategic and operational medical and scientific expertise for evidence generation activities, including clinical studies. You will collaborate with Category Management Teams and Medical Science Leads to design, interpret, and communicate evidence plans and outcomes globally, focusing on regions like the US, Europe, and Emerging Markets. This role involves evolving evidence generation strategies to incorporate a broad range of clinical approaches, including Real-World Evidence (RWE) and health economics, to improve patient outcomes. It requires balancing innovative methods with risk management to align strategies with business needs. Responsibilities Oversee ethical, effective evidence generation strategies supporting scientific insights, claims, and regulatory approvals. Provide medical, clinical, and ethical guidance for human subject research across all product types and study phases. Define Standards of Care and identify evidence gaps through collaboration with marketing and medical teams. Implement best practices for evidence generation, ensuring alignment with Target Product Profiles and Claims. Lead evidence generation planning to promote cross-functional collaboration and deliver fit-for-purpose strategies. Guide clinical methodologies to maximize business benefits while minimizing risks. Communicate evidence outcomes to stakeholders and support external scientific communications. Participate in scientific meetings, advisory boards, and internal reviews. Manage interfaces with internal disciplines and external professional bodies and KOL networks. Required experience Medical Degree, preferably with PhD or higher qualification. Extensive clinical practice and understanding of health outcomes and systems. Experience in clinical research, study design, and Medical Affairs, especially for OTC products. Proven ability to manage KOL relationships and communicate scientific data effectively. Experience in training, working with healthcare businesses, and understanding regulatory affairs. Strong stakeholder management and independent working skills.
