Your responsibilities
– Act as a lead auditor to plan, arrange and complete new external manufacturing organisation audits, new supplier audits and ongoing routine compliance verification audits for Core Reckitt and follows up audit actions to completion.
– Ensure supplier activities are fully compliant with regulatory and Reckitt guidelines to minimise risk to consumers, company and brand.
– Write technical summaries and audit reports and issues reports within 28 days.
– Recommend approval (or rejection) of new suppliers.
– Escalate any non-standard issues through supplier QMS failures to the Corporate Audit and Vendor Quality Director and regional procurement leaders as necessary and ensure they are managed and communicated through the CEP process where appropriate.
– Propose quality improvements and training where required to suppliers to improve supplier performance.
– Develop and implement effective risk mitigation at suppliers, to reduce or mitigate risks risk to Reckitt.
– Work closely with Procurement, Factory Operations and other QA personnel of the material receiving sites to resolve quality issues with suppliers that may affect consumer safety, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and operational performance.
– Contribute to the maintenance of the ongoing supplier assessment and re-approval programme based on risk.
The experience we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’re looking for
– Available to undertake frequent regional travel as required. Some international travel may be required.
– Broad understanding of supplier management and quality management systems such as ICHQ7, EU GMP, ISO13485, ISO9001
– Strong leadership, partnership, and facilitation skills.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience communicating to a diverse audience, at multiple layers within and outside the company.
– A continuous improvement mindset and ability to facilitate change.
– Excellent risk management skills to identify and mitigate supplier risks to the business, developing strategies and executing action plans to resolve critical issues.
– Technical and professional qualifications
– Experienced lead auditor with lead auditor qualifications.
– Degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
– Experience within a Quality organisation within a Healthcare or Nutrition environment
– Broad understanding of manufacturing and packaging operations including raw materials and packaging material manufacturing and control.
– Thorough knowledge on the regulatory requirements, rules and guidance covering the manufacture of pharmaceutical products in the geography of the role location.
– Ability to use Microsoft -Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
– Demonstrate behaviours in line with Reckitt strategic values.
– Proven ability to work under pressure without compromising on deliverables.
– Well-developed influencing skills, diplomatic and tactful in difficult situations.
– Highly motivated and confident in external environments. Organised and able to deliver concise written or oral summaries to senior management.
– Ability to work on own initiative is essential for the success of this role.
– Excellent communication skills and able to debate and negotiate with external supplier personnel.
– Well-developed influencing skills. Diplomatic and tactful in difficult supplier situations
– Able to lead improvement plans with key suppliers, requires a good manufacturing knowledge and an understanding of business processes.
