About the role:

Role Location: Hull, HU8 7DS

Our Production Operative opportunity is an operationally focussed role. When the production line is running efficiently, their time will be spent on both operational and maintenance tasks. They will operate lines to manufacture Reckitt products in line with the production plan, whilst providing support to our Technicians to ensure operational effectiveness. There will be a focus on promoting our Quality and Health and Safety cultures ensuring that targets are consistently achieved.

Your responsibilities:

  • Operate lines at maximum efficiency to ensure all production plans are achieved on time and to quality standards.
  • Support the hourly/daily/weekly performance reviews on the line ensuring correct downtime analysis is highlighted to Man Tech and action is taken in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all KPIs are achieved.
  • Ensure you have the necessary skills to operate your area to the required standards.
  • Effectively complete the maintenance tasks in respect of autonomous maintenance.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in respect of safety and quality systems.
  • Take ownership for your own training plan with support from the Technician.
  • Ensure right first time completion of all line documentation.

The experience we're looking for:

  • Production line experience on high speed packaging equipment in FMCG, food, chemical, or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Ability to work to stretching targets.
  • Ability to undertake NVQ based qualifications.
  • Awareness of quality/Good Manufacturing Practice and experience of a KPI focussed environment (Desirable).
  • Trained to a Mechanical and/or Electrical craft level, NVQ level 3 or above or equivalent International qualification (Desirable).
