About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Procurement Director to lead global procurement for IT&D and Professional Services—including consulting, legal, HR, tax, audit, advisory, and business services—at Reckitt Ltd. This high-impact role oversees a global spend of approximately £500 million, driving procurement excellence across the Source-to-Contract process.

Your responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Category Management: Develop and execute global category strategies for IT&D and Professional Services, expanding spend coverage, optimizing project delivery, and enhancing organizational efficiency. Align procurement strategies across geographies and functions, balancing global standardization with local flexibility. Lead and develop a high-performing global procurement team, fostering operational excellence and continuous improvement. Manage a global spend of ~£500 million, setting clear priorities aligned with business and financial objectives.
  • Supplier Management & Negotiation: Drive supplier selection and relationship management to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and innovation. Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers through Joint Business Plans (JBP), performance reviews, and executive-level engagement. Lead complex negotiations, managing contracts, framework agreements, and pricing models to secure favourable terms. Continuously benchmark supplier performance to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with global standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior business leaders to shape outsourcing strategies and embed procurement early in decision-making. Align procurement with IT&D and Finance strategies: Collaborate with global IT & Digitization teams to understand roadmaps, project needs, and specifications. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement solutions meet operational and local business requirements. Support business with AI and innovation agenda across all initiatives and link back with Procurement strategy. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Legal, Marketing, Shared Services, Finance, and Executive Leadership. Provide expert guidance on procurement strategy and support strategic decision-making.
  • Market Intelligence & Risk Management: Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to proactively adapt procurement strategies. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to ensure continuity and minimize disruptions.
  • Performance Reporting & Compliance: Define and track KPIs to measure procurement performance, savings, and supplier effectiveness. Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical procurement standards.
  • Procurement Leadership & Digital Enablement: Act as a procurement ambassador, influencing strategic decisions with bold, innovative thinking. Leverage digital tools to enhance visibility, compliance, and speed in sourcing decisions.

The experience we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of senior-level procurement experience, with a strong track record in IT&D and Professional Services.
  • Proven expertise in strategic category management and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships across global organizations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale budgets in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities: inspiring teams, communicating effectively, showing empathy, delegating strategically, and driving accountability.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written); experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
