Partnering with sales teams to further embed sustainability into the business, drive new ways to measure performance against our goals and identify opportunities to activate our joint sustainability ambitions with our customers, this role will be pivotal to driving the customer voice into our sustainability choices. You'll join a global, purpose‐driven community that is relentlessly focused on turning bold ambitions into real world progress, with pace, collaboration and integrity.
Your responsibilities
- Develop operating model that effectively embeds sustainability into local IMEX processes, proactively ensuring that sustainability considerations are integrated into the commercial proposition.
- Partner with Sales Directors and customer facing teams to understand the sustainability priorities of strategic customers, identify opportunities, shared initiatives and build joint sustainability plans that deliver mutual growth, including activation towards Reckitt sustainability goals.
- Provide a feedback loop to R&D, Brands and Supply teams, ensuring the customer sustainability agenda (priorities/best practices/requirements) is considered within product development and operations.
- Oversee the management of the Customer Sustainability Playbook and Dashboard, equipping key account management teams with latest sustainability information to better service customers at a local level.
- Build strong relationships with customer counterparts, leading the management of external customer data hubs e.g. Walmart Sustainability Hub, coordinating inputs, usage and analysis with customer teams to impact partnership agreements.
- Enhance sustainability knowledge base of commercial teams – lead the content creation and delivery of training and supporting materials, including workshops, playbooks and presentations.
- Strategic assessment of customer lead initiatives, pilots and programs. Determine how and where to play to benefit both individual customers/local needs along with identifying scale up opportunities and scalable learnings.
The experience we're looking for
- 10+ years within the FMCG / consumer healthcare industry.
- Demonstrable experience in sustainability, customer partnerships, and analysis to drive business performance and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver business growth, manage multiple stakeholder engagement, and work through others to deliver commercial goals.
- Experience in retail customer activation.
- Strong awareness of current and emerging ESG trends, risks and opportunities that may affect Reckitt's brands and customers.
