About the role: We are seeking an experienced Technical/Solutions Architect to play a key role in the global deployment of a strategic Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) technology platform. The Architect will be responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end technical solution architecture, ensuring the platform ecosystem is secure, scalable, integrated, and aligned with enterprise technology standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Technical Programme Manager, Solution Architects, Engineering Teams, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Data, PMO, and third-party implementation partners to deliver a robust enterprise-wide PPM capability.
Your responsibilities include:
- Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for a global PPM platform deployment, ensuring scalable, secure, resilient, and supportable solutions that align with enterprise technology standards, business requirements, and strategic objectives.
- Produce key architecture artefacts including solution blueprints, technical designs, integration models, data flows, deployment architectures, and future-state technology roadmaps.
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise PPM platforms such as Planisware, Planview, ServiceNow SPM, Clarity PPM, Jira Align, Microsoft Project Online, or comparable SaaS solutions.
- Design, govern, and optimise integrations between the PPM platform and the wider enterprise ecosystem.
- Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise cloud, infrastructure, security, and compliance standards.
- Establish and support the technical environment strategy across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Provide technical leadership, governance, and architectural assurance across internal delivery teams, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
- Partner closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Programme Managers, Engineering teams, and operational support functions to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
The experience we're looking for includes a depth of experience in full-stack solution design and agile development practices.
