About the role: This role will lead and facilitate the global sourcing strategy, negotiation, and supplier relationship management for Marketing – Insights & Analytics and Design & Artwork services. Operating at the heart of indirect procurement, the position is highly strategic and will embed procurement excellence across the Source-to-Contract process, ensuring value creation, contractual protection, and service excellence on a global scale. The role will require managing large-scale, time-critical negotiations and procurement transformation programmes.
Your responsibilities:
- Global Category Strategy & Governance: Define and implement global category strategies for Insights & Analytics and Design & Artwork. Align across geographies, business functions, and senior stakeholders, balancing standardization with flexibility.
- Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) & Value Realization: Lead all negotiations and strategies with a TCO lens, ensuring contracts deliver sustainable cost efficiencies, quality of service, and innovation beyond initial savings.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Drive the Joint Business planning process in collaboration with the business. Defining and driving JBP strategies with top strategic partners.
- Contracting & Risk Management: Lead high-value negotiations with legal, financial, and operational complexity.
- Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence: Actively partner with senior business leaders to challenge demand, shape outsourcing strategies, and ensure procurement is embedded at the earliest stages of decision-making.
- Value Beyond Savings: Drive initiatives such as supplier innovation, simplification of supplier base, and optimization.
- Technology-Enabled Procurement: Leverage digital procurement tools to enable value delivery, visibility, compliance, and speed in sourcing decisions.
- Spend Control Tower Process Leadership (SCT): Active member of the SCT process to review and manage demand, ensuring right sourcing process, risk mitigation, and compliance.
The experience we're looking for:
- Proven experience in strategic procurement and transformation leadership within marketing, ideally at a global level.
- Comfortable leading large, complex negotiations with global partners.
- Strong understanding of commercial models, contract structures, and risk mitigation in marketing.
- Demonstratable ability to influence and partner with senior leadership across multiple functions.
- Experience in successful partnering with large external suppliers to deliver outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to communicate, build rapport, and influence at all levels.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting negotiation styles to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on deal execution.
- Experience working in a multinational environment with cross-border stakeholder management.
