Overview
In this role you will lead day-to-day delivery of strategic projects within the GBS PMO, ensuring timely progress, risk management and governance. You will work across cross-functional teams and external partners to drive a key Service Management Operating System workstream and transform Shared Services capabilities. You’ll report on progress, escalate issues, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enable successful delivery and continuous improvement. This is a high-visibility role at Reckitt, offering scope to shape project governance and impact across the organisation.

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operational and tactical delivery of assigned projects, tracking progress, managing dependencies, and mitigating risks and constraints (resource, time, budget)
- Manage project scope and stakeholder expectations; assess impact of changes on cost, timeline, and resources with sponsor approvals
- Produce clear project reporting with progress metrics and lessons learned for transparency and continuous improvement
- Plan and facilitate governance forums (steering committees, RAID) and ensure actions are tracked and delivered
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive outcomes and maintain relationships
- Ensure adherence to the Project Management Framework, methodologies and tools
- Define and maintain clear roles and responsibilities (RACI) within the project team
- Demonstrate leadership with integrity, transparency and professionalism in stakeholder interactions
- Set and align project expectations while delegating tasks across cross-functional teams
- Identify and resolve conflicts or competing priorities among stakeholders
- Build strong, trusted relationships with business stakeholders to support delivery and long-term engagement
Key requirements
- Proven end-to-end project delivery experience within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints
- Experience applying project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall or hybrid)
- Stakeholder management experience with senior-level and cross-functional teams
- Understanding of IT&D landscape and ways of working
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to tailor messaging and present insights
- Leadership ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and make decisions
- High organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with supplier or partner management and accountability for delivery
