Overview
Join Reckitt for a 12-month Year in Industry placement in R&D.
You will gain hands-on experience across leading consumer brands in a state-of-the-art Science and Innovation Centre.
You’ll support technical developments, regulatory work, and safety assessments, with exposure to global products like Nurofen, Strepsils and Gaviscon.
This placement helps you build practical skills in a global FMCG environment and aligns with Reckitt’s mission to improve health and hygiene worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical input and support developments across our product portfolio
- Support Regulatory teams to implement global product rules and regulations
- Prepare and submit key regulatory dossiers for multiple product classifications
- Collaborate with Consumer Safety to ensure product safety for consumers
- Guide design choices toward safer and more sustainable packaging, labeling and ingredients
- Key requirements
- Currently studying a relevant scientific degree (e. g., Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Environmental Science)
- Positive, inquisitive mindset with willingness to ask questions
- Proven organisational skills to balance and prioritise tasks/projects
