Overview
In this role you will lead a project engineering team to deliver capital projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with specifications and internal controls. You will manage capital and factory planning, resource allocation, and the investment process from conception to delivery, delivering auditable benefits. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive meaningful change and support manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver capital projects on time and within budget per specifications
- Oversee the capital plan, financial plan and factory planning to ensure viability and delivery
- Ensure internal controls for capital projects (Capex, procurement, PIRs, asset tagging/removals) are followed
- Manage the capital investment process from conception to delivery with auditable benefits
- Provide an overview of investment plans and ensure appropriate resourcing
- Develop project forecast and financial planning with engineers
- Manage team objectives including sickness, absence, and regular performance reviews with feedback
Key requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant leadership experience
- 3-5 years of first-hand Project Engineering delivery
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple activities and flex team resources
- Self-starter, able to work on own initiative
