About the role
You will work on the front line of new business execution within a FTSE 100 Company, delivering on our health portfolio products – in our OTC/independent pharmacy customer facing team. The Territory Executive’s primary objective is to represent Reckitt with our customers, through regular individual store visits within an assigned sales territory. We are the largest Company owned OTC Field Sales team in the UK and offer training and support to be the best you can be.
Your responsibilities
- Customer visits within the appropriate geography or channel, frequency of visit as determined by the Field Sales Manager.
- Optimize the distribution, merchandising and promotions of our products in accordance with the 3D objectives for the relevant sales campaign.
- Utilise our CRM software in store with high accuracy to drive our 3D.
- Respond to customer needs and queries.
- Co‑ordinate and report on Reckitt Benckiser performance with respect to the customer agreement (in areas such as order delivery, invoicing/accounts receivables, displays and promotions).
- Makes regular visits to individual stores/retail outlets in order to check displays, maintain & grow our best selling lines, sell displays, sell in the 3D concept, maintenance of 3D execution.
- Managing the customer as a key stakeholder to secure partner of choice status, optimizing value for the consumer, the customer and Reckitt.
The experience we're looking for
- Previous proven Territory Management experience in an FMCG/OTC arena desirable but not essential.
- Some previous sales experience in another channel or market is required, and we are more focussed on how you have achieved your sales performance to date vs. what the results are.
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self‑motivating.
- Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing customers and key stakeholders.
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation.
- Ability to think outside the box.
