About the role: The Senior Manager, Global Compliance & Performance, maintains oversight of the performance of key performance metrics for factories and operations, Quality improvement programmes, and utilises the metrics data to drive and provide oversight of continuous quality improvement within the groups. In addition, provides support and leadership as required for selected continuous quality improvement projects.

Your responsibilities:

  • Implement the quality compliance strategy.
  • Reports on compliance levels across all regions, ensuring our compliance activities are targeted to areas of risk and that corresponding quality improvement plans are in place.
  • Provides support to the respective quality teams to proactively drive improvements.
  • Escalates risks and proposed resolutions proactively to Area Heads of Quality.
  • Leads the metrics collation and facilitates the cascade of the metrics for the input into the Global metrics.
  • Supports factories to be in a constant state of audit readiness when required.
  • Develops and delivers compliance & performance training in conjunction with partners in the Global Quality Group including QMS.
  • Ensures factory and External Manufacture group Quality Metrics (KPIs) are appropriate and reviewed annually.
  • Leads selected quality improvement projects as identified by the SVP of Quality.

The experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a quality and or compliance function in a Healthcare, Hygiene, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device related industry.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a robust QMS in a Healthcare, Hygiene, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device related industry.
  • Good understanding of typical regulatory requirements relevant to a regulated product e.g. EU GMP, WHO, PIC/S, CFR 21 Part 111/ 210/ 211/ 820, ISO stds 13485 + 22716, etc. plus others.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High level of self-awareness, well-developed influencing skills.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in challenging situations.
  • Highly motivated and able to self-manage time and workload.
  • Organised and able to deliver concise written or oral summaries to senior management.
  • Good understanding of GxP and quality management systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of the regulatory requirements, rules and guidance covering the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, cosmetics, food and general product.
  • Technically savvy to drive automation and digitisation projects on a site or in the global function. Previous experience of driving improvement in this way with Supply/R&D and IT is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and able to debate and negotiate with personnel from all levels of supply functions.
  • Well-developed influencing skills.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in difficult situations.
  • Highly motivated and confident.
  • Dynamic presentation and training skills.
