Our Process Engineers are responsible for a cell's short term performance, working closely with Process Leads, Maintenance, Operations, and reporting into our Site Improvement Engineer. They act as a core process owner and subject matter expert for assigned manufacturing technologies, equipment, or processes.

Your responsibilities:

  • Partner with cell Process Leads to deliver Tactical Improvement Plans (TIP) to drive improvement of KPIs (i.e Planned and Unplanned Downtime Losses/Waste).
  • Proactively driving and ownership of actions from line level reviews.
  • Actively build world class capabilities within the manufacturing environment.
  • Lead implementation of centre lining, defect handling, best run settings, SMED.
  • Lead complex problem-solving activities using structured CI tools (e.g. RCA, A3, DMAIC).
  • Deliver daily improvement actions to reduce losses, improve efficiency, and enhance process robustness.
  • Implement process improvements aligned to site CI strategy and business objectives.
  • Review and address chronic losses at cell level through data-driven analysis and action plans.
  • Develop and deliver process and continuous improvement training to operators, technicians, Engineers and cell leaders.
  • Coach teams in CI methodologies, problem-solving tools, and standard work.
  • Support talent development by embedding a continuous improvement culture.

The experience we're looking for:

  • Bachelors in Engineering or HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering with industry experience (desirable).
  • 5-10 Industry experience within manufacturing environment.
