We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Engineering qualification. Our Manufacturing Technicians ensure that our manufacturing machinery is operational and efficient. This apprenticeship will build your understanding of how the machinery works and ways to ensure increased operational efficiency whilst understanding the why and how of Reckitt operations. On completion of your apprenticeship it is highly likely you will be offered a shift-based role.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor production processes and report faults or inefficiencies.
  • Carry out basic mechanical and/or electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineering teams.
  • Complete coursework and submit evidence prior to deadlines.

The experience we're looking for:

  • Level 4 to 9, or equivalent, in Maths, English and a Science or Technical Subject.
  • Aptitude for working with machinery.
  • Interest in building a career in Engineering.
