About the role
Analytical Assistant – R & D – Nurofen
On – site – Hull
Closing Date: 7th October 2025
Analytical Assistant, where you’ll work at the intersection of lab science and technical documentation to support the development of Nurofen products.
This is a hands-on role with a strong technical focus—ideal for someone who thrives in a regulated lab environment and enjoys solving complex problems.
Your responsibilities
- Working in a 70/30 lab-to-office split, supporting analytical testing and data interpretation
- Running HPLC and dissolution testing in line with GMP and safety standards
- Supporting dossier preparation and lab compliance for global submissions
- Collaborating cross-functionally across R&D and contributing to new product development (NPD)
The experience we\’re looking for
- A degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences)
- Experience in analytical trouble shooting and method validation
- Experience in an analytical lab environment, ideally with HPLC and dissolution techniques
- Strong theoretical understanding of analytical methods and regulatory standards
- A proactive mindset with the ability to lead small-scale projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
