We are looking for a Project Engineer with a passion for delivering impactful change projects whilst aligning engineering excellence with strategic delivery. From concept to completion, you'll own the delivery of high-value projects on time and on budget. This is your opportunity to shape systems, deliver continuous improvement, and drive production efficiencies, all while delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from feasibility and design through installation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring delivery safely, on time and within budget.
  • Act as project owner, coordinating cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, quality, EHS, and external suppliers/contractors.
  • Manage installation works and commissioning activities, acting as the permit to work job supervisor.
  • Manage project documentation, risk assessments, change control, and post-CAPEX evaluation to capture lessons learned.
  • Drive sustainability improvements, ensuring projects are specified to best practices and for minimum wastage.
  • Ensure all engineering solutions comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Engineering qualification (minimum HNC; Degree preferred) in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in project management within a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management practices, including cost control, scheduling, and contractor management.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial equipment.
  • Well-honed interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and influence across all company levels.
