A fantastic opportunity available for a Project Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The purpose of the role is to manage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, covering the installation, commissioning and validation of process and packaging equipment, facility upgrades, utilities and infrastructure upgrades.
Support the Health Care business by delivering Engineering Capital Investment Projects to time, cost, and quality expectations. Control all aspects of project activity, including engineering, design, programme, safety management, procurement, commissioning, and validation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare Capital Expenditure justification packages.
- Manage the capital budget.
- Maintain awareness of technological and regulatory standards.
- Formulate creative technical solutions.
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
- Co-ordinate multi-disciplined teams.
Requirements:
- Engineering background with Pharmaceutical or FMCG experience (desired).
- Engineering qualification: Degree level, BTEC HNC, or ONC.
- Experience managing internal and external resources to ensure project activities are completed on time, to budget, and to the required specification.
- Working knowledge of GMP requirements for facilities and equipment (desired).
- Ability to manage external contractors while adhering to safe working practices and specific HSE requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to identify and manage project blockers before the critical path is impacted.
