As an Engineering Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading and delivering engineering projects across the site from concept through to completion. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting Reckitt’s quality, compliance, and operational standards. In this role, you will drive engineering improvements, support site infrastructure and systems, and ensure projects contribute to operational efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Managing a team
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects from concept through to handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to achieve project objectives.
- Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Provide clear communication and regular progress updates to key stakeholders.
- Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and presentations for leadership.
Engineering Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve site infrastructure, engineering systems, and operational performance.
- Lead system upgrades, modifications, and improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant legislation, company policies, and engineering standards.
- Support site continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, safety, and operational teams to align engineering projects with site priorities.
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and external partners.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers and project team members.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or related discipline).
- Proven experience delivering engineering or capital projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience managing contractors, project budgets, and timelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience using engineering and project management tools or systems.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification desirable.
