You will be responsible for effectively managing product changes, maximising forecasting accuracy on all products within the portfolio and driving improvements. You will have full accountability for the IBP process for a number of brands and successfully plan the supply of several brands coming from both external sources and Reckitt factories for the UK market, ensuring Customer Service targets are met whilst minimising inventory.
Responsibilities- In close co-operation with the Commercial teams, create, monitor and revise forecasts for a portfolio of brands ensuring accuracy measures are met and continuously improved.
- Maximise customer service level for a portfolio of brands via effective liaison with factories and monitoring of daily forecast.
- Drive IBP process with support of the team through effective sales meetings.
- Analyse trends and promotional volumes to make adjustments and recommendations where necessary.
- Monitor and manage in-transit stock and safety stock requirements.
- Effectively manage inventory.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and work with sales and marketing teams to ensure optimum decision making and reaction to potential issues.
- Challenge sales teams where appropriate to ensure best supply and financial forecast.
- Where appropriate deliver improvements in supply efficiencies.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Reckitt supply systems (Kinaxis).
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability; analyse complex data, identify issues, explain variances and recommend solutions.
- Strong relationship builder and ability to communicate effectively across all functions; ability to challenge constructively and confidently.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
- 2–3 years demand/supply planning experience.
