This role has been created due to ongoing expansion, and sits at the heart of their strategy to deepen relationships with local governments and drive adoption of digital and AI-powered solutions.
What you will do:
- You will manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of approximately 60 local authorities, acting as a trusted partner to planning and building control teams.
- You will drive adoption and usage of planning and building control services, including AI-powered tools, supporting councils through digital transformation and change initiatives.
- You will identify and progress opportunities to expand the use of additional services, including planning, building control, and consultancy offerings where they add genuine value.
- You will act as the primary point of contact for your accounts, ensuring strong engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
- You will proactively identify risks within accounts and implement strategies to protect and grow market share.
- You will capture customer insights and feedback to help shape product development and wider business strategy.
- You will support local authorities in their transformation journeys, positioning the business as a strategic, long-term partner.
What you will need?
- 4+ years’ experience in local government, GovTech, or a related sector, with exposure to planning departments or systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage senior and operational audiences.
- Proven ability to drive adoption of new systems or lead change within local government environments.
- Commercially aware, with experience identifying opportunities and managing proposals.
- Highly organised and self-sufficient, with experience managing portfolios, using CRM systems, and tracking pipelines.
- Exposure to digital transformation programmes or SaaS environments is a plus.
