RECfinancial are currently working with a highly regarded East Midlands Group of accountancy practices that are expanding its specialist Trusts Team. They are now looking to appoint a talented Trust Tax Adviser to join them across their offices in Grantham, Boston or Stamford.

The Opportunity
As a Trust Tax Adviser, you’ll play a key role in delivering both high-quality compliance and advisory services, helping clients confidently navigate complex UK trust tax legislation while providing practical, commercially focused solutions. You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your ideas are valued and your development is actively supported.
What You’ll Be Doing as the Trust Tax Advisor?
- Preparing and reviewing trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Supporting and advising on a wide range of trust taxation matters
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients through clear and proactive communication
- Collaborating with wider advisory teams to deliver joined-up, high-quality client solutions
As you develop in the role of Trust Tax Advisor, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Take ownership of your own portfolio of trust clients
- Play a key role in delivering specialist advisory work, including:
- Tax implications of trust distributions
- Planning ahead of 10-year anniversary charges
- Advising on trust restructuring and wind-ups
What is our client looking for as the Trust Tax Advisor?
- Proven experience in trust and estate taxation (practice or specialist advisory environment)
- Strong working knowledge of UK trust tax legislation and compliance
- Qualified (or qualified by experience): ATT, CTA, STEP, ACA, ACCA
- Confident communicator with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Strong analytical mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
