RECfinancial are currently short listing exclusively for this South Leicestershire based Practice as they look to recruit an experienced Tax Senior to join their team. They will also review Tax Semi Seniors looking to progress. If you're looking for a new challenge and a firm to grow with, then look no further. Ideally, being ACA/ACCA/CTA part or qualified, you'll be a confident member of the team.

What do we want as a Tax Senior?

  • A confident and competent individual with several years experience working in a busy Accountancy Practice.
  • Personal or Corporate Tax
  • Working closely with new clients and understanding needs whilst being a contact for current clients.
  • Monitoring tax return progress to ensure timely completion and submission to HMRC, dealing with routine HMRC enquiries from inception to completion, along with building/maintaining relationships and providing a high level of client service.
  • You will support Financial Planners on advisory projects and in the implementation of complex tax planning arrangements, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax/succession planning.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients including individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns.
  • Review of work prepared by junior members of staff.
  • Providing guidance to colleagues in the accounts departments on tax-specific matters.
  • Involvement in corporation tax compliance, to include preparation or review of corporation tax returns.
  • Involvement in training and development of junior team members.
