RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with a high growth, Leicester based manufacturing company in the appointment of a Finance Director. The role is based at the firm's head office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire.

Working closely with the Managing Director, the Finance Director role will support them in providing financial stewardship for the business as they embark on their next period of growth. It's an exciting time for the business as a number of large contract wins will see their business grow over the next 12 to 24 months.

Day to day responsibilities will be to oversee the finance function which is a team of 12, to develop the function and information that it provides the wider business. There is a strong element to the role in supporting the wider business in key decision making from a commercial point of view. The role is a good mix of routine and technical accounting, corporate reporting as well as adding to the business through commercial impact and business partnering.

The business is keen to see the impact from this role reorganising the finance team, developing and improving the processes.

To be considered for the role you will need to be qualified in either the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification and it's likely that you will be in a Financial Controller or Finance Director type role.
