The role is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Loughborough, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
Within this role, you'll play an important role in providing financial insight across the business, helping stakeholders to better understand performance and supporting the continued growth of the organisation.
Whilst you'll be involved in the production and review of management accounts, this isn't a traditional month-end focused position, with management accounts making up around 25% of the role. The greater focus will be on understanding what sits behind the numbers, investigating variances and identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the business.
You'll support the budgeting and forecasting processes, produce meaningful analysis and commentary for senior management and the Board, and work closely with operational stakeholders to provide the financial information they need to make informed commercial decisions. There will also be plenty of opportunity to improve reporting, develop financial models and identify areas where Finance can add further value.
We're particularly keen to hear from candidates currently working within Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting who enjoy the analytical and stakeholder-facing side of Finance. Strong Excel skills are important, with exposure to Power BI or developing dashboards and management information advantageous. xgikmsk
Candidates studying towards, or qualified in, CIMA, ACCA or ACA will be considered, alongside experienced qualified-by-experience professionals with a strong commercial background.
