RECfinancial is supporting a well established Leicestershire based business in the appointment of a Financial Accountant to the team.
The role is based at an impressive office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will take responsibility for all of the firm's financial accounting activities as well as overseeing a small team.
Day to day responsibilities will include full balance sheet control, long range planning, fixed assets, year end, working with the external auditors, monthly board reporting, supporting with budgeting / forecasting, preparation of the VAT return and working closely with the Finance Director and Management Accounts team.
The role would suit a candidate who is qualified in either the ACCA or ACA qualification and your experience will have a strong financial accounting bias.
Candidates will be considered who have either financial accounting experience from industry or those who have qualified within practice and are looking to make their second move.
The role would suit a candidate who has career aspirations to become a Finance Manager or Financial Controller in the future.
