RECfinancial is partnering with a market leading Leicestershire based business in the recruitment of a Management Accountant to lead the accounting for an 8 million t/o subsidiary business. The role is based at a smart office which is commutable distance from most locations in Leicester / Leicestershire, South Nottingham, Corby, Kettering, Oakham, Melton Mowbray and Market Harborough.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this is a newly created Management Accountant role which will lead the accounting for a growing 8 million t/o subsidiary business. You will take charge of the production of monthly accounting, budgeting/forecasting, board level reporting, financial analysis including sales and profitability, business partnering non-finance functions, VAT returns and year end. The role has one direct report.
The business is in a growth stage and is keen to hire a candidate who is looking for a role which will grow over the next few years. The ideal candidate will have a mixed background covering both management and financial accounting and will be qualified or working towards qualifying in either the CIMA or ACCA qualification. You will be a confident communicator and able to work with non-finance teams in a commercial way. You will have a passion for adding value from improving reports and processes.
The role will offer hybrid working post passing probation with 4 days in the office and 1 from another location. The role has a salary range of between GBP45,000 and GBP52,000 plus benefits including a bonus.
