RECfinancial are currently shortlisting for a leading Leicester based manufacturing business as they look to engage a Finance Manager on an interim basis. This is an immediately available role and does potentially offer a permanent opportunity for those looking for something a little longer. This role sits in the heart of the business and will see you help produce accounts for the board whilst overseeing all aspects of finance. This role is commutable from all areas of Leicestershire, Derby and Nottingham.
You will help to lead the finance team and ensure the accurate reporting, profitability and efficiency of the business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all financial reporting, management accounts, and forecasting for the business and subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly and annual accounts, VAT returns, and audit requirements.
- Manage cash flow, credit control, and supplier payments to maintain financial health.
- Lead budgeting, financial analysis, and variance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and HMRC, maintaining strong financial governance.
- Safeguard company assets, monitor stock valuation, and oversee insurance policies.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with proven finance management experience.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Sage and Excel, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and travel when required.
