RECfinancial is partnering with a long-established, privately owned business in North Leicestershire in the appointment of a Finance Manager.
The role is based at the company's head office and is commutable from Leicester, Loughborough, Swadlincote, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and the surrounding areas.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a highly visible position where you'll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of the finance function while providing commercial insight and financial analysis to help influence strategic decision making.
This is a varied role with responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cashflow management, financial reporting and analysis.
You'll work closely with the Managing Director to identify business trends, improve financial performance and provide meaningful commercial information to support key business decisions.
Alongside the core finance responsibilities, you'll be encouraged to review existing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
The business is investing in its future and is looking for someone who enjoys challenging the status quo and adding genuine value.
The successful candidate will ideally be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified and already operating within a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant role.
However, candidates who come from a QBE background will equally be considered.
You'll be confident producing management accounts, leading budgeting and forecasting activities and presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
Strong Sage 50 and Excel skills are essential, together with a proactive approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
The role is office-based initially, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week following a successful probation period. Flexible start and finish times are available.
The role offers a salary of £50,000 - £60,000, with a competitive benefits package.
