RECfinancial are currently partnering with this North Leicestershire based Practice as they look to recruit an experienced Client Manager to join their team. This well established Practice is proud of its 5* reputation within the industry. They specialise in providing accounting and tax services to numerous businesses across the East Midlands, from Sole Traders to Limited Companies.
As a Client Manager, your role will see you take control of a portfolio of clients, manage staff and maintain healthy relationships with old, new and clients. You may already be in a similar role, or be looking to progress your current position as a Senior. Your role as the Client Manager will also involve:
- Reviewing accounts following preparation to draft stage and calculate tax liabilities
- Liaising with clients to ensure accounts finalised for partner meeting
- Ensuring all stat deadlines are met within your portfolio
- Preparation of self assessment returns for directors / shareholders within your portfolio
- Being first point of contact for clients
- Responsibility for own billing and time management
- Audit work including statutory audits, SAR and grant audits
- Opportunities to develop own portfolio further and take meetings
- Opportunities to do specialist work such as forecasting, business valuations, EMI schemes
What do we want in the Client Manager:
- Ideally fully AAT / ACCA or ACA qualified
- Minimum 3/4 years in Practice
- A real team player, lone rangers need not apply
- Super communication skills
- The ability to deliver and maintain an excellent service
- Demonstrable skills in a similar role
- Strong systems skills, Sage / Xero / Quickbooks are desirable
