RECfinancial have been engaged by a local SME, a leading UK provider in their field, to join their friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone with strong numerical ability, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach who is looking to further their career in accounting and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers
- Credit Control
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT returns and staff expenses
- Supporting payroll processing
- Assisting with monthly financial reporting
- General administration and finance related queries
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Organised, deadline-driven, and proactive
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- AAT qualification (or working towards it) or equivalent experience
- Experience in credit control and debt management
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and payroll processing
