RECfinancial are recruiting exclusively for a South Leicestershire based manufacturing business, who are keen to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a Full Time Permanent basis. Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week. Commutable from Leicester, South Leicestershire, Rugby, Nuneaton and surrounding areas.  Our client is a well recognised local business, dedicated to excellence in their particular field. From their humble beginnings they have grown into one of the world’s leading providers of comprehensive solutions.   This is an exceptional role that offers the successful applicant the opportunity to work with a creative manufacturer,  supporting the operational side of the business,  dealing with suppliers, distributors, business partners, and end customers. Main role of Accounts Assistant  The main purpose of this role is to look after the transactional side of accounting including Accounts Payable, Credit Control and various other finance tasks. Undertaking data entry and data analysis and being able to pick up all Finance tasks within the team if required.  Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant Full end to end Ledger duties; including assigning entries to correct accounts and payments. Accounts payable and receivable. Inputting data into SAP, updating ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial records Updating weekly cash book and assisting in cash forecasting Updating the balance sheet reconciliations and daily banking. Assistance with Credit control and aged debt Processing company card transactions and employee expense claims, verifying receipts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. General housekeeping for the accounts department  Providing support to other teams within the business, such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and filing documents.  Skills and experience: ACCA part qualified or AAT qualified Willingness to learn Good Time management, be able to meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail Self–disciplined, with the ability to manage and prioritise various tasks. Ability to work independently, using your own initiative. Strong IT skills, including; Excel, MS Office and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.  In return our clients offer a long-term career opportunity in a reputable, established organisation, in a collaborative environment.
