RECfinancial are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Accounts Assistant to support a busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Month-end reporting skills and good transactional finance experience, to work within a friendly and supportive team. Commutable from Ashby, Coalville, Ibstock, Hinckley and Leicestershire. The successful applicant will support the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operational tasks. Work closely with the wider team members to maintain financial records, prepare reports, and assist with month/year end processes. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ROLE: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports. Reconcile ledgers and supplier and bank statements Cash collection Support with month end and year-end audit processes. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase and sales ledgers. Assisting with weekly and monthly reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records Provide support to the Financial Controller and other team members as needed.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Previous experience within an accounting or finance-based role. Confident user of accounting software, ideally Sage 200, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills. High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail. Well-organised with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
