We are looking for a new Sports Content Executive to join our team based in Bedford. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home). Salary range for this position is from £25K to £27K (DOE).
About The Role
The Sports Content Executive is a key member of the Content Team, responsible for producing high-quality, relevant, and timely written content for clients, with a focus on sports-related topics in the iGaming sector. The role involves writing to a consistent standard, participating in ideation sessions, proofreading and sub-editing content, and conducting effective research to inform and enhance output. The position supports both the Senior Content Specialist and wider team, with opportunities to contribute to client meetings, develop SEO awareness, and create content across a range of formats and platforms. The role also includes involvement in internal content initiatives and supporting the delivery of client content calendars.

Essential Skills
- A passion for writing with the ability to create different forms for different platforms
- Ability to evidence writing to a high-quality standard

- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Familiarity with AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT)
Desirable Skills
- Degree in Journalism or similar is preferred but not essential

Job Responsibilities
- Writing high-quality, relevant, and timely content to a good standard ensuring it adheres to the style guide and is written in the appropriate TOV
- Positively participate in ideation sessions for the writing of content, pitches, and proposals
- Produce internal resources and marketing material for the content team and the wider business based on research or training
- Write or repurpose content for international markets
- Attend client calls/meetings as required
- Proof and sub-edit colleague’s content to a good standard
- Carry out effective research, gaining a good understanding of niche and target audiences to aid with content creation
- Contribute to client content calendars
- Be proactive with personal development. Attending training courses to aid development and constantly looking to expand subject knowledge
