Link-building in iGaming is one of the most scrutinised and competitive outreach environments in digital marketing. Publishers are selective, budgets need to stretch, and the placements that genuinely move SEO performance take experience and persistence to secure. As a Senior Link-Building Outreach Specialist at Receptional you'll be leading from the front — owning complex client accounts, managing and developing direct reports, overseeing third-party spend, and helping shape the outreach strategy across the team. This is a step up from execution; you'll be expected to bring strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and the kind of expertise that junior team members can learn from.
Requirements
This is a senior outreach role with real leadership responsibility. You'll be running complex link-building campaigns for iGaming clients from end to end, while managing direct reports and contributing to the strategic direction of the Off-Page SEO team. The pace is fast, the client expectations are high, and you'll be expected to bring the kind of experience that sets the standard for the team around you. In practice, that looks like:
- Developing and owning strategic link-building plans across a portfolio of iGaming clients — from research and targeting through to placement and performance analysis
- Sourcing high-quality publications and websites aligned to each client's sector and objectives
- Crafting compelling outreach communications and negotiating placements within agreed budget parameters
- Developing targeted content assets designed to secure placements — written to editorial standard, built around what publishers actually want
- Monitoring third-party spend proactively — identifying overspend risks early and addressing them through effective negotiation
- Managing and developing your direct reports through regular 1-1s, SMART goal setting, performance reviews, and hands-on guidance
- Owning your client accounts end-to-end: transparent monthly updates, strategy sessions, KAM planning, and client meetings
- Presenting campaign insights and performance to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence
- Contributing to agency marketing and growth initiatives — newsletters, blog posts, and client development plans
