Specialists who do their best work together, sharing ideas, moving fast, and holding themselves to a high bar. Link-building in iGaming is a specialist discipline — and this role is where you learn it properly. As a Digital Marketing Link-Building Outreach Executive at Receptional you'll be contributing to live client campaigns from day one, working under the guidance of a Senior Outreach Specialist on some of the biggest names in sports betting and casino. You'll be building prospect lists, sending outreach, supporting content production, and developing your understanding of the iGaming sector — including the regulatory environment that shapes how we work on behalf of clients. It's an entry-level role with real structure, genuine investment in your development, and a clear path upward for the right person.
What You'll Be Doing
- This is an entry-level outreach role where you'll be getting stuck into live client campaigns from day one.
- You'll be working under the guidance of a Senior Outreach Specialist, building the foundational skills of link acquisition, publisher research, and outreach communication in a fast-paced iGaming agency environment.
- The work is detail-oriented and data-driven — and you'll be expected to take ownership of your own development alongside your day-to-day responsibilities.
- Researching and building targeted prospect lists of relevant publications and websites aligned with iGaming client needs.
- Sending outreach emails and follow-ups to publishers and webmasters to secure link placements.
- Maintaining accurate records of outreach activity, placements, and prospect status in BuzzStream or equivalent tools.
- Assisting in developing outreach campaign materials — email templates and pitch content.
- Supporting content briefs and short-form content pieces that help secure link placements for clients.
- Ensuring content meets publisher editorial standards before submission.
- Developing your awareness of iGaming advertising regulations — age restrictions, responsible gambling messaging, and geo-targeting requirements.
- Supporting account leads with client reporting, data gathering, and campaign updates.
- Beginning to use AI tools to support outreach and content tasks under the guidance of your line manager.
- Contributing to agency marketing activities — team brainstorms, newsletters, and blog posts.
What We’re Looking For
You don't need years of experience — this is an entry-level role and we'll teach you the craft. What you do need is strong written communication, genuine curiosity about digital marketing and the iGaming sector, and the kind of self-motivated approach that doesn't wait to be told what to do next. The work is detail-oriented and deadline-driven, so organisation and attention to detail matter as much as creativity here.
Essential
- Strong written communication skills — you craft clear, engaging messages that get responses.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills — nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines consistently.
- A genuine interest in iGaming, digital marketing, or SEO — curiosity about the sector goes a long way here.
- Comfortable using AI tools to support outreach and content tasks.
Desirable
- Some exposure to SEO, link-building, or digital PR — internships, personal projects, or academic work all count.
- Basic awareness of the iGaming industry and its regulatory landscape.
- Familiarity with tools such as BuzzStream or Ahrefs.
- A degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related discipline — or equivalent experience.
How you'll be measured
Prospect list output against weekly targets, consistency of outreach volume and response rate tracking, contribution to the team's monthly link acquisition targets, quality of placements and content meeting client and publisher standards first time, and deadline adherence across all tasks and deliverables.
The Package
£25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience. Hybrid Position - 3 days in office, 2 days working from home.
Your Growth, Supported
Defined career pathways, personal development plans, and regular appraisals so you always know where you stand and what's next. Team training budgets, a Training Academy, an AI-powered learning platform, and a genuine commitment to promoting from within.
Pay and Rewards That Reflect Your Work
Competitive salaries benchmarked annually, a company bonus paid twice a year, enhanced pension contributions as your career develops, a Long-Term Incentive Plan, and generous referral bonuses. Good work gets rewarded here.
Your Contribution, Recognised
Monthly MVP Award (£100), Values Champion recognition (£25 plus a prize wheel spin up to £100), and an annual Player of the Season award (up to £250). Weekly shout-outs and appreciation from colleagues and managers are just part of how we work.
Health and Wellbeing
Free annual health checks, flu jabs, and eye tests. Access to mental health first aiders, confidential counselling sessions, a cycle-to-work scheme, and five paid sick days on top of SSP. We take looking after our people seriously.
Time That's Yours
