About Meliá London Kensington SW7 4PE, a member of Meliá Collection, is an elegant boutique hotel accompanied by the most exquisite service and a refined air. Salary package: £13.62 per hour (£17,046.54 per annum) plus service charge, hotel discounts, health cash back plan, meals on duty, pension scheme, loyalty rewards and referral bonuses, and many more.Receptionist - Part-time, 24 hours/week
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that all guests are welcomed and checked-in into the hotel in a warm, genuine & professional manner and, when possible, addressed by their name.
- Be fully conversant with check-out procedures in an informative & helpful manner.
- Project a helpful and enthusiastic attitude while offering choices, anticipating & identifying guest expectations, in order to ensure that guests' needs are met & where possible exceeded.
- Be aware of the current hotel availability and propose up-sell and cross-sell whenever possible, to maximize room occupancy and hotel revenue.
- Present all accounts to company and agency bills with compliant back-up. Provide guests with the corresponding invoice related to payment taken.
- Observe all security, health and safety regulations. Be fully conversant and capable of acting in an appropriate manner during emergency situations in accordance with the hotel emergency procedures.
- Carry out all duties with due regard for the specifications of relevant & related legislation. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by senior reception staff or management.
- File all new arrivals registration cards after they have been completed by the guest, ensuring contact details are accurate.

- OPERA knowledge
- Fluency in English; additional Spanish would be beneficial
- Prior experience in a similar role
The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
