Mission
As a Night Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, safe, and welcoming overnight experience for our guests. You will be the main point of contact during the night, delivering professional, warm, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of security, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities – Night Front Office Operations
• Welcome and check in guests in a warm, professional, and genuine manner, addressing guests by name whenever possible
• Carry out check-out procedures accurately and informatively
• Ensure full awareness of hotel availability and actively upsell and cross-sell to maximise occupancy and revenue
• Adhere to all hotel credit policies, handling payments with accuracy and attention to detail
• Observe and comply with all security, health, and safety regulations during night shifts
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints efficiently, escalating to senior management when necessary
• File arrival registration cards and update all relevant guest information
• Process and file all restaurant, bar, and room service dockets
• Close city ledgers and third-party payments for next-day departures
• Maintain a calm, professional approach at all times, especially during emergencies
What we’re looking for
• Previous experience in a similar Night Reception or Front Office role
• Strong knowledge of OPERA PMS
• Fluency in English (Spanish language skills are an advantage)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A responsible, organised, and proactive approach to work
• Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
