What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests and staff during the night.
  • Use your expertise to always deliver a first-class service to all guests.
  • Ensure a minimum of 2 security walks are carried out on each shift, with emphasis on fire safety and overall security of the building.
  • Conducting the nightly audit to close the day’s business and liaise with the accounts team to ensure accuracy.
  • Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling the date reports.
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, debit, or credit cards.
  • Sell a room/accommodation to a guest, without a reservation, based on availability.
  • Assist in recruiting, training and developing the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

What we are looking for:

  • A warm and genuine individual who enjoys putting people first.
  • Strong recent experience in a busy hotel at Assistant/Night Manager level.
  • Demonstrable experience leading an established night team.
  • Excellent organization and delegation skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
